On November 4, 2024, the City of Santa Fe was awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for its comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2023.

The GFOA's Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting. On November 5, 2024, the City of Santa Fe was awarded the Budget Recognition Award by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for Budget Year 2024-2025.
