Community Services

The Community Services Department manages, administers and enforces all aspects of land management and building construction-repair occurring within the City.  Areas included are: zoning, building, code enforcement, certificate of occupancy-compliance, flood control, storm water pollution control; and any other associated program regulatory requirements.  The Director and Staff foster open communications between the public, City Council, County, State and Federal agencies to educate the community and receive feedback for needed updates to the Comprehensive Plan and regulations which promote the orderly growth of the City.
