Home Inspections

A home inspection program offered by the Santa Fe Police Department's Crime Prevention Unit may qualify you for a discount on your homeowners insurance policy after completion. Simply call the Santa Fe Police Department at (409) 925-2000 to schedule a time for an officer to visit your home and carry out a 15- to 20-minute inspection. The home's doors, windows, and other openings will be checked during the inspection to make sure they meet industry standards. The appropriate inspection form will be completed by the officer and given to the homeowner for record. For a complete list of requirements, please contact the police department.
